The Beckhoff EK1100 is an EtherCAT Coupler that serves as the interface between the EtherCAT protocol at the fieldbus level and EtherCAT Terminals (ELxxxx series). It converts Ethernet 100BASE-TX telegrams to E-bus signal representation, enabling seamless communication within an EtherCAT network.
