The Beckhoff EL3312 is an analog input EtherCAT Terminal designed for direct connection of up to two thermocouple temperature sensors. Featuring built-in cold junction compensation and wire-break (open-circuit) monitoring, this 12 mm compact module evaluates millivolt signal curves across a broad spectrum of standard thermocouple types (including K, J, J, T, E, N, R, S, B, and C), transmitting digitized temperature values directly across the EtherCAT network.
